Moscato d’Asti D.O.C.G

Grape of ancient origin, mentioned by the Romans for its particular and unique aromatic characteristics. Only those vineyards situated at a height of 400-500 meters above sea level, rooted on sandy and very steep soils are suitable to produce Moscato d'Asti.

The partial spontaneous fermentation (only five percent alcohol) of must results in a sweet, very intense wine, with a very high aromatic charge, the real strenght of Moscato.

To preserve as much as possible this feature, the vinification has significantly changed over the years, aiming to reduce the filtrations and all practices which, even if correct, bring down the very welcome organoleptic characteristics of this wine.

True connoisseurs of Moscato d'Asti rediscover in the bottle a very unique and valuable taste, defined as "the flavor of the berry pricked by the wasp," the same wasp that in vintage time loves to taste the sweetest and mellowest grapes, those with that unique fragrance maintained to the bottle.
